Welcome!

We hope that this website will give you a flavour of who we are and that what you see here might make you want to come and visit us, or even get involved in church life.

We don't claim to have 'got it right' or to have all the answers - we are just a group of people 'doing life together', journeying together with a shared mission.

We seek to become a truly welcoming and dynamic Christian community where we can connect with God, love one another, learn to live life to the full and bring hope to those around us.

We do all this on the basis of belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour; we are part of the Baptist Union and affiliated to the Evangelical Alliance.

This new website is (just about) live. To see parts of the website that are restricted to LRBC Members only, you will need to create a new account. Simply enter your name ( I suggest the format Forename Surname) and email address and you will receive a password automatically. To keep things secure, I will then need to activate the account which may take a couple of days.
Members will, I am sure, be pleased to see an up-to-date Member's Directory on-line. We also hope to use the website to keep you updated with Prayer Requests - that page just has dummy information at the moment but I will be working with the prayer team to see how we can keep the information current.
We have future plans to include downloads of sermons. In the meantime, if there's other things that you would like included on the site do let me know.
